This event is powered by community — and this year's turnout exceeded every expectation. Thank you to every neighbor who brought food, decorated a table, welcomed someone new, volunteered their time, or simply showed up.
A special thank you to our Table Captains, our incredible volunteers, CityPoint, the NYPD, DSNY, and the Brooklyn Heights Association for making this all possible.
Inspired by the famous Parisian Table d'Aude and the popular annual Longest Table in Chelsea, this free event brings neighbors together for a BYO-picnic at a communal table on car-free Remsen Street.
We provide the tables and chairs. You bring your own food, beverages, plates, and utensils. Sit with family, friends, colleagues, or perfect strangers — come solo or organize a group. Everyone is welcome.
Neighbors brought dishes to share and packed their own lunches. The table was theirs to enjoy.
Wheelchair accessible and family friendly. Neighbors of all ages belong here.
Car-free on Remsen Street from Hicks to the Promenade — the perfect setting.
Part of The Longest Table community, connecting neighborhoods everywhere.
