Table for 1,300 please

This event is powered by community — and this year's turnout exceeded every expectation. Thank you to every neighbor who brought food, decorated a table, welcomed someone new, volunteered their time, or simply showed up.

A special thank you to our Table Captains, our incredible volunteers, CityPoint, the NYPD, DSNY, and the Brooklyn Heights Association for making this all possible.

How the Brooklyn Heights Association sets The Longest Table

Inspired by the famous Parisian Table d'Aude and the popular annual Longest Table in Chelsea, this free event brings neighbors together for a BYO-picnic at a communal table on car-free Remsen Street.

We provide the tables and chairs. You bring your own food, beverages, plates, and utensils. Sit with family, friends, colleagues, or perfect strangers — come solo or organize a group. Everyone is welcome.
